French Press Institute

The French Press Institute was established in 1937, and in 1970 it became the Communication and Journalistic Studies department for Panthéon-Assas University. Located in Paris, France, this school is known as one of the best journalism schools in the country. It provides a basic degree in Digital Journalism that covers the essentials of media law and ethics, production and information, and writing and journalism. The Institute also offers a Master of Journalism degree in which you will undergo a two-year intensive study program to prepare you for entering the field of journalism. Only twenty-four students are selected each year to participate in the program; this allows the Institute to put more time into individually mentoring each student. Under the Master of Journalism program, you are able to choose between four different majors or minors: TV, radio, print, and online journalism. The program is open to exchange students from all over the world, allowing for a diverse learning experience.
